Read all about it! Our glorious winning entry, inspired by a mysterious cigarette case and the 2022 runners-up are available to read.
Since 2017, a creative, cultural revolution has happened across Reigate and Banstead. Our youngsters have written and written and written. Their stories have been ghoulish and scary, funny, witty and sad. They have featured unicorns, flying cars, magic birds and in 2022 we met a conker who wants nothing more than to be a chef.
Whatever the genre or content, the 1,000 + entries entered since 2017 are all stories about our towns. Is there another borough that can boost the same?
And so to the 2022 winners. Lizzie And the Cigarette Case by Mary Jones was the very worthy winner.
You can read Mary’s winning entry here.
